Officials with AMA Racing and the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) have penalized Supercross-licensed rider Kyle Chisholm for his on-track actions at the Salt Lake City round of the 2009 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship.In on-track altercations between himself and fellow Supercross competitor Chad Reed, Chisholm violated Appendix A2.3, paragraph "i," of the AMA Supercross an FIM World Championship rulebook, which prohibits "engaging in any unfair practice, misbehavior, or action detrimental to the sport of motorcycling in general..." Chisholm also violated Appendix A.2.3 paragraph "o" which prohibits "failing to immediately respect and comply with the operational or warning flags/lights or other signals from Racing officials" when he remained on track after being shown the black flag.In consideration of these violations of the AMA Supercross an FIM World Championship rulebook, the following penalties were assessed:
Disqualification from the Salt Lake City round.
Suspension from all forms of AMA- and/or FIM-sanctioned competition until May 3, 2009.
$5,000 fine.

SX Weekend

We went to the SX in Salt Lake this weekend. It was a good race to say the least. Of course we are die hard REED fans!!! We only hope Chad gets a fair shake in Las Vegas! GO REED!!! It was a typical race day for us. It rained and was cold. We even got some snow. Our seats were in line with the finish line jump. It was awesome.

We had lunch together with gramme. It was fun. Jo sat on a pile of chairs going through her Easter basket. Lulu (mother hen) made sure gram was taken care of. DD got a hold of the camera and took some interesting pictures of his candy. I'll try and get them loaded in a slide show. Gma made rice crispy eggs with every ones name on them. I made home made rolls... and no they weren't from a box. I found an easy receipt and made them from scratch.

Easter Weekend

I know I'm a little behind but I wanted to post some pictures of Easter weekend. Saturday morning was a local Easter egg hunt. DD was in BLFT so we brought Kira home with us. The girls had fun! I think Kira was the most competitive.

All right to all you nagging people. I will start blogging. I have been blogging for a while now with our company blog but have been to lazy to do a personal one. So here we go on our online journey. I will post as often as I can. I can't say it will be all that often but I'll try.

Double D went to have his final retainer check today! It is amazing to see the before and after pictures. It is a "pretty awsom smile" as he put it. And I added "it cost a pretty penny too"!
